Casino Crime Roundup: Vegas Hotel Room ‘Massage’ Turns Into Armed Robbery

A suspect stays in custody on Friday after providing a massage to a man at the Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Resort & Casino. It concluded with her brandishing a knife and taking his $50K Rolex watch, according to police.

The event occurred on February 9, 2023, when Jessica Thompson, 24, referred to as “Tiffany,” accompanied a man to his hotel room at 2:45 a.m. to give him a “massage,” as reported by Las Vegas TV station KLAS.

As he entered the room, the man placed his expensive gold watch inside the hotel room safe.

After Thompson completed the massage, the man had a bath. According to the police, she was by herself in the room and unlocked the safe.

The man noticed the noise of a safe being unlocked and exited the bathroom to check it out. He noticed Thompson with the expensive watch before she supposedly threatened him with a switchblade and cautioned him not to inform the police.

Agentes del Departamento de Policía Metropolitana de Las Vegas (LVMPD) fueron notificados sobre el robo y examinaron las grabaciones de las cámaras de seguridad del hotel. According to police, a security guard from a different casino hotel helped LVMPD officers recognize Thompson.

Subsequently, the robbery victim successfully recognized Thompson in a photo lineup, according to police.

On Sunday, Thompson faced charges of robbery involving a deadly weapon and grand larceny exceeding $25K but under $100K. Authorities stated that she was taken into custody at the Clark County Detention Center on those charges, as well as charges from a different warrant.
