Man Arrested for Threatening Stations Casino CEO Over Charlie Kirk Signs

After allegedly threatening to kill Station Casinos CEO Frank Fertitta III over the company's banners honoring the late conservative activist Charlie Kirk, a 26-year-old Wisconsin man was taken into custody in Henderson, Nevada.

According to a Henderson Police report that KLAS-TV/Las Vegas was able to get, on September 12, Thomas "TJ" Fedikovich made two threatening phone calls to a Sunset Station employee in Henderson, Nevada.  In the first, he threatened to "destroy the sign and take it down if the memorial was not removed from the marquee."  In the second, he allegedly said, "We're going to take out your CEO, too," to reiterate the threat.

KLAS reported that officers with the Southern Nevada Counter Terrorism Center were able to trace the calls to a burner phone connected to Fedikovich's email address.  The next day, he was taken into custody at a Henderson Starbucks that he was known to frequent.

Since being shot dead on September 10 while giving a speech at Utah Valley University, Kirk has emerged as a focal point in America's widening ideological rift, inspiring supporters, enraged detractors, and escalating the national conversation about political violence, extremism, and free speech.

Although Fedikovich reportedly only saw the sign at Sunset Station, Station Casinos displayed the memorial for Kirk on the marquees of numerous of its local casinos.  The KLAS claims that the calls and other backlash caused the marquees to be "taken down."

According to KLAS, Fedikovich, a Madison, Wisconsin native, was accused of compulsion through harassment and threats of physical force.  Bail was set at $6,000 during his probable cause hearing on Sunday, and he was told to avoid Sunset Station and its staff.

Fedikovich is still being held at the Henderson Detention Center despite posting bond on Wednesday, according to KLAS.
